Soul Street

A wire crossed,

won and lost.

A look to re-visit,

over and over.

The core of desire,

burned through

Body that fused and ran.

Once we looked

We knew,

We began.

Once we lit,

We were going

We were blissed.

Burn again heady oven heart,

Renew your soul.

Light again fire.

Here to hold.

Circles, spaces, antique district’s,

Sold.

Dust down the alley way.

Made by earth, gathering

On sweet exchange street,

Birds flying solo,

Silk webs weaved.

Who is more willing?

Who left their soul on the counter?

Renewing,

Heart sinewing

Cobbles.

And bodies.
